We need to be in a position to condemn American involvement whether it's in was Grenada or any other country where we wish to make a judgement about the rights and wrongs of a situation. That's If we are going to change the nature of United Kingdom subservience to United States foreign policy, we have to change this. There's no doubt about it. Because of the influence of the CBI, the City, the ambassadors, all the institutions of senior civil servants and the If Neil Kinnock said there were to be no discussions on policy, no discussions of cabinet secrets, he would be challenged from the top to the bottom of the Party. Those are great sources of strength.

We suffered a considerable defea at the last election, but the confidence of the Labour Party and the strength of its ideas has not been diminished.
